1)Do fetal responses modulate the placental and maternal(uterine/decidua)interations?2)do other microbial substances interact with responsive cells on a level with LPS? 3) some examples of antimicrobilal beneficial effect do exist. (Gravett,et al). Is this possibly a sub mic- effect of reducing production of virulence factors?or an effect on inflammation,as is demonstrated by clindamycin, erythromycin and athithromycin and Penicillins?.. 4) could you speculate how women and clinicians could preserve healthy immunological responses ? 5) WE ARE INDEBTED TO YOU FOR YOUR GROUP’s leading research and clear explanations! I am stunned that 40% of preterm births are from infections. That is a good point to get across.

Towards the end of your presentation you discuss the mortality after infection of the mice that were pregnant vs. those that weren't depending on their receptors. Were the mice all in the same gestational period or was gestational age a factor? Would the stage of pregnancy impact the placenta's role of immune regulation?

Is there an article I can quote about 40% of preterm births being from infections?
