Are there any special precautions you suggest when only one twin has been infected to help protect the other?

Amy-
Some providers will put the other twin on a prophylactic antibiotic when a twin is diagnosed with GBS. It isn’t well researched however. I would encourage parents to take any changes in their baby, no matter how subtle seriously and get the baby checked.

Thank you, Angela, for the beautifully done presentation on your twins' GBS experience! Appreciate learning about the sunset sign (Andrew's photo at 10:35 in video) which can be a sign of increased cranial pressure – an important alert for parents and providers.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Bless you and the boys!
You were a great advocate for your babies! More and more these days it seems we have to advocate for ourselves and parents are the only voice those little ones have. Well done!

I must commend your efforts to care for your twin. This your story is eye opener especially for workers in developing country where GBS testing is not routine.
