Charmaine Carvalho has held several positions within the board of directors for the bilingual Quebec Association of Doulas since its birth in 2012. Today, as Vice President of its Anglophone division, she liaises with French and English hospitals, provincial birth centers, and gynaecology medical clinics. Besides juggling a healthy perinatal massage practice with being an active doula, she's finessing her very own collaborative birth project-Doula SVP, a new concept of Hospital Doula Program that aims to provide last-minute affordable inclusive doula care during birthing & postpartum within the Montreal region.

Elizabeth Moreno, mother of two young men, was born in Canada to Spanish parents.She is one of the founders of the Quebec Association of Doulas, and worked tirelessly on the board of the directors to get the association into its sixth successful year. She is a Sacred Childbirth™ practitioner, a Reiki teacher practitioner and an active Birth Labor & Postpartum doula, Perinatal Loss doula & Fertility doula. Being trilingual and with affinities to the new immigrant population, she services clients from all walks of life including single moms, low income families. She is a co-collaborator of a Perinatal program in Montreal that helps inform, prevent, and assist birth parents with alternative care including naturopathy, athletic therapy, osteopathy, nutrition, acupuncture, to name a few.
