Held October 15-25, 2018, this symposium featured GBS researchers and health professionals presenting on various aspects of GBS disease pertaining mainly to GBS infection during pregnancy as well as loss support. Prenatal-onset group B strep disease includes GBS-caused stillbirths and miscarriages and should possibly include GBS infections caused before early-onset prevention strategies would normally be implemented.
