In 1990, I had a healthy pregnancy. No problems at all. When my son was born, the birth was horrific. compared to my second son's birth.
My first son's birth resulted in him having an extremely misshaped head, I was told this was from being in the birth canal. I could not push him out. I received no assistance such as c-section etc. He just remained in my vagina crowning for an extremely long period of time.
After birth he had every symptom described. He has had a difficult life since birth, learning problems, social problems and health problems. I am now 56, and my son is 30. I have just been diagnosed with a Strep B bladder infection, that is not responding to antibiotics. I am wondering if I had this during my sons birth, and if it has been in my body all of these years. Also, is there any help out there for my son. his situation is pathetic. and I have never had anyone explain his disability, or the difficult birth. He has now been diagnosed as having Aspergers syndrome. And psycoaffective disorder. His brother is 3 years younger. And everything has been normal throughout his life.
