When I was 17 weeks gestation my ob/gyn gave me a cerclage. At that time he did a test to determine if I had any infection. It was found that GBS was present. After two months my water broke at 24 weeks so I was hospitalized. I was two days in labor. I didn't realize that GBS was so damaging and my doctor did not explain it was that critical. The day after I give birth the doctor from the NICU called us and told us that our child had passed away.
We are very sad and frustrated because of our loss. We are also very scared if we try to have another baby.
