I had my son on October 17, 2019. He was fine when we left the hospital, but one month in I noticed he started to look pale and developed a high pitched cry. I got the thermometer and I took his temperature and it read at 40.1C. That is not normal for a 1 month old. I rushed him to the hospital and the doctors immediately started to treat him for meningitis and put him on antibiotics. We were then transported to the sick kids hospital in Toronto and he was treated there for 3 weeks. Thank God my baby is well and survived. He is now 16 months and a strong little man.
