My first baby Jack died while giving birth. I fear GBS may have caused premature labour.
My daughter was 24 weeks gestation and suffered severe sepsis both bacterial and fungal but I am pleased to say she survived a great ordeal. She is 12 years old and even though there are complications, partially deaf, slight brain damage due to a bleed to the brain she is doing well. Shes a fighter and a survivor.
