Hayden Grace was born at 32 weeks due to me having HELLP Syndrome . Even though she was early, she was healthy and beautiful. We stayed in NICU for 2 1/2 weeks where she was given antibiotics for a few days. I never got a GBS test because I wasn't at the 36 week mark. I have 4 older children all of which I was negative. Which I know doesn't matter.
We get her home and 52 hours later, my healthy, beautiful baby girl woke up crying and I couldn't make her stop. No fever, no nothing, just crying. The rest of the story is too painful but I watched a healthy, happy, beautiful baby girl die. Worst pain you can ever feel. I have no idea where she got it, how she got it, why she got it., but I live with the consequence every day.
