We focus on several health topics throughout the year to help promote healthy babies.
  • July awareness
    • July is International Group B Strep Awareness Month
    • July 8-14 is Group B Strep Awareness Week
  • October is Prenatal-onset GBS Disease Recognition Month
  • February is International Prenatal Infection Prevention Month

These observances provide an opportunity to educate the public, healthcare professionals, and communities about prevention, early detection, and the importance of timely treatment to reduce the risks associated with GBS for babies at all stages as well as other types of infection that may harm babies before birth. Through advocacy, information dissemination, and shared stories, we aim to further healthy outcomes for babies worldwide.
